TSC Sailing Charters is a locally owned and operated family business. Our owner, Captain Tom (Koma) Blackwell has been “on the water” from his birth on the shores of the Great Lakes. A university graduate and devoted family man, he has traveled worldwide and enjoyed a very successful career as an executive consultant in the financial sector. He started, built and operated his own profitable (!) airline and found success in the real estate market.

Tom has always enjoyed meeting new people and in his businesses, ensured that the products and services he provided were top quality, satisfied his customer's needs and were fairly priced, all of which continues to this day. His love for the sea kept calling, and he now spends his days sailing the Gulf and nearby waters. Included in his travels are Mexico, Honduras, the Bahamas, USVIs, Jamaica and Antigua.
